How to erase: windows 10

  1. Go into Settings

  2. In the search bar type “Reset This PC”

  3. Press the “Get Started” button

  4. Select “Remove Everything”

  5. Select “Local Reinstall”

  6. Select “Remove files and clean the drive”

  7. Select the “Reset” button to erase

HOW TO ERASE: APPLE OSX

  1. Choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Apple ID. Click iCloud in the sidebar, then deselect Find My Mac

  2. Restart your computer: hold the power      button > select Restart when it appears

  3. While the computer restarts, hold down the ‘Command‘ and ‘R‘ keys

  4. Once you see the Apple logo appear, release the ‘Command and R keys’  

  5. When you see a Recovery Mode menu,      select Disk Utility

  6. Make sure the ‘Macintosh HD’ startup disk is highlighted in your Disk Utility window > select Erase

  7. A pop-up window should appear.      

  8. Change the Format to macOS Extended (Journaled) > select Erase again

  9. Select Quit Disk Utility in the Disk Utilities menu.

  10. A window will then appear giving you the option to reinstall macOS > select Install macOS

HOW TO ERASE: APPLE IOS

  1. Connect to internet/WIFI

  2. Go to Settings > General > Reset

  3. Select ‘Erase all content and settings‘ and enter your password

  4. Select ‘Erase iPhone‘ (or iPad) and type your Apple ID password

  5. Your iPhone or iPad will factory reset and restart

HOW TO ERASE: ANDROID

  1. Open Settings, and select System.

  2. Select Reset options.

  3. Select Erase all data (factory reset).

  4. Select Reset Phone or Reset Tablet at the bottom.

  5. You'll be asked to confirm, select Erase Everything.

  6. Your device should reboot and may show a progress screen indicating that it is erasing the data

  7. After it finishes deleting the data on the device, the operating system will restart again and will arrive at a screen similar to the one when you first unpacked it from the box
